Little Prayers Launch / Lost Toys Night
12 Jan 2008

Please join us at the Luminaire in Kilburn, easily the nicest venue in London, for another Lost Toys night, this time to Launch the Little Prayers 1-8 (ep) by the Johnny Parry Trio.

This is the first of what will be a triptych of CD's by the Johnny Parry Trio. It is also the first set of studio recordings as a three piece rather than Johnny on his own, giving it a
very different feel. The 8 'Little Prayers' contain two alternate versions from 'Songs Without a Purpose' and one from Johnny's debute album from 2003 'Break Your Little Heart'. It is also the first set of recordings to surface from the just finished Lost Toys Studio, hidden out in the Bedfordshire countryside.

SHOW WITHOUT PUNCH and The GRUBBY MITTS will also perform at the Luminaire in support of a full set by JP Trio.

Johnny Parry Trio Little Prayer EP
17 Dec 2007

The Johnny Parry Trio will release the first in a series of three EP's. All three EP's will feature the ongoing series of songs by Johnny Parry which are simply titled Little Prayer and then numbered. These will be played as a trio, stripped down to piano, bass and drums. Several of these songs have featured on Johnny's debut album 'Break Your Little Heart' and the follow up 'Songs Without A Purpose', here, however, they will be completely new interpretations. This will be the first recording proper as The Johnny Parry Trio. The first of the three records will be launched at the Luminaire, Kilburn, on Jan 28th. Ticket information to follow shortly.

SHOW WITHOUT PUNCH FREE SHOW
13 Sep 2007
The Lost Toys Records Ensemble will play a free show at the Cross Kings in Kings Cross on Sat 22 Sept, headlined by SHOW WITHOUT PUNCH.

This was initially intended by LTR to be the launch of the astonishing debut full lenght recording of Show Without Punch, but as noted previously this
can no longer be the case. We can't say for sure when it will be available,
or from where, but for the time being a new live EP will be available from shows.

Due to unforseen things, mostly good, Lost Toys Records will not be putting out the self-titled debut album from show Without Punch in September as hoped. The album is finished, but having to be held, for the time being, under lock and key.

We are very sorry, but you will hear it eventually.

The album lauch party at will be replaced with a Lost Toys night, possibly with a very special guest, but we are not going to make any more promises.

More details to follow.
